So much tradition has
been built around the nativity and some of it is helpful, and some not!
I am taking the risk of possibly spoiling our ignorance with some facts!
Who are the WISE
MEN?
It seems their visit triggered such a
violent reaction in King Herod that he ordered the slaughter of an estimated 20
innocent male babies up to 2 years old!
Even for a depraved King, it seems extreme.
Could there be more to it than 3 men dressed in women’s clothes riding camels
bringing some presents to worship Jesus?
I decided to dig deeper in the scripture and
ancient scholars to help us reach a new level in our understanding and retain
more than a sentimental myth!
